A lot has been talked in the papers not long ago about the bingo industry struggling as a result of the smoking ban in England. Conditions have grown so poor that in Scotland the Bingo industry has asked for huge tax breaks to assist in keeping the industry alive. Bingo is an established game normally enjoyed by the "blue haired" generation. The answer is on the internet. Players are now realizing that they can participate in bingo in front of their computer whilst enjoying a beverage and cig and in the end, enjoy big jackpots. This is a recent development and has timed itself almost perfectly with the ban on smoking.
