Much has been written in the press just a while ago regarding the bingo industry being hit because of the cigarette ban in the United Kingdom. Things have become so poor that in Scotland the Bingo industry has called for big tax cuts to assist in keeping the industry afloat. However will the web variation of this classic game offer a salvation, or might it not compare to its land based peer?

Bingo has been an ancient game usually played by the "blue haired" generation. However the game recently had seen a recent resurgence in popularity with younger members of society deciding to hit the bingo parlours rather than the bars on a Friday night. All this is about to be reversed with the introduction of the anti cigarette law throughout Britain.
