Much has been talked in the press not long ago about the bingo industry singing the blues as a consequence of the anti cigarette law in the United Kingdom. Things have become so bad that in Scotland the Bingo industry has requested massive tax cuts to help keep the industry from going bankrupt. But will the web variation of this quintessential game offer a lifeline, or might it in no way compare to its land based kin?

Bingo has been an established game generally enjoyed by the "blue haired" generation. The results of the anti cigarette law can already be seen in Scotland where cigarettes are already not permitted in the bingo parlors. Profits have plummeted and the industry is absolutely fighting for its life. But where did all the players go? Certainly they have not given up on this enduring game?
